FAQ's

  • How can I book group classes or private sessions at Bodhi Align Pilates?
    Group class bookings can be conveniently made through the MINDBODY app, available both on your computer and mobile device. Simply search 'Bodhi Align Pilates' and start booking! For private sessions, please contact our studio directly by reaching out to Luisa at luisa@bodhialign.com.au. This ensures you receive personalised assistance and can tailor your session to your specific needs.
  • Where is best to start?
    If you are new to Pilates or have specific injuries it is highly recommended to start with private sessions. If you wish to continue private sessions after this on going, this is a great way to progress in your goals and strength. If you prefer a group setting and are new to reformer, we still encourage 2-3 private sessions initially to learn the basics of the Pilates Method before joining group classes. If you have done reformer before you are welcome to join any class on the schedule! Alternatively a great way to ease your self into group classes is joining our Gentle Reformer class on Saturdays!
  • What is recommended I wear?
    Comfortable clothing such as activewear, shorts, leggings or anything stretchy is great! Restrictive clothing like jeans and shirts are not recommended or anything that is too baggy and bulky like coats and heavy hoodies. Grip socks are recommended but not compulsory. Equipment is wiped down after all sessions.
  • What do I bring to classes?
    Just your wonderful self! Please bring your own water. You may like to bring a towel if need be. There are toilet facilities to change if you bring a change of clothes!
  • I have no flexibility, can I still do Pilates?
    Absolutely! Pilates can help increase and improve your flexibility.
  • Memberships
    Memberships are for Group Reformer Classes only! ** Contact studio to purchase ** Limited spots only ** Currently SOLD OUT ** Not available for private sessions However you can book any other regular single or multiple class pass for all classes on the schedule via the MINDBODY APP! Memberships are $55 per week direct debit - allowing min 2/max 4 group classes per week. Subject to change.
  • Cancellation Policy
    Due to the nature of small class sizes and limited availability, less than 24 hours notice of cancellation will result in a full cancellation fee. This is for private and group sessions. We understand circumstances out of our control may arise so please contact the studio as soon as possible and we will assess on a case by case situation where only a half fee may be arranged. We thank you so much for your understanding.
  • What is a "waitlist"
    On our MINDBODY booking system for group classes, if a class is already full you can still add yourself into the class but on the waitlist. If someone cancels, the person next in line on the waitlist will be notified and added into the class!
  • What if I'm running late?
    We understand delays happen, traffic, work meetings/appointments running overtime etc Due to our group classes running for 45 minutes, we don't allow late arrivals past 5 minutes of class starting. For private sessions, your allocated late time is 15 minutes past your scheduled time. Please contact the studio as soon as possible to let us know.
  • I am pregnant, which class should I attend?
    Pilates is such an amazing form of movement during pregnancy and a safe way to keep your body fit and mobile in preparation for birth. We highly recommend contacting the studio prior to booking into any class. If you have never done Pilates before, we recommend 2-3 private sessions first and then if you prefer group classes you can move into our classes. If you have done Pilates before you are welcome to book into any class or private session ideally not express classes (run on a Wednesday). These classes are faster paced and at times involve jumping/abdominal work and may not be safe at certain stages of your pregnancy.
  • What is your studio address?
    Due to safety, privacy and being a home based studio, the address is not on our website. It will be texted/emailed to you prior to your session for all new clients coming to group and private sessions. The address is available on the MINDBODY app when you book group classes. We are located in Traralgon.
  • How to do pronounce your studio name?
    Bodhi is pronounced like BODY!
